Vibrance Counseling therapy office in St. Charles, Missouri.

Healing doesn’t have to happen all at once. Some of the most meaningful change happens one conversation at a time. Weekly therapy offers a steady, supportive place to slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and create lasting change at a pace your nervous system can trust. Together, we’ll untangle the survival patterns that have shaped your life, build new ways of responding with greater compassion and confidence, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that’s been there all along.

If you’ve spent years holding everything together, you don’t have to keep carrying that weight by yourself. Healing isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about creating the space to become more fully yourself.

Weekly therapy gives us the chance to build on each conversation, celebrate the small shifts that lead to lasting transformation, and create change that becomes woven into your everyday life.

A place to slow down, reconnect, and grow

From the outside, it might look like you’re doing just fine. You show up. You get things done. You’re the one people rely on. But underneath it all, you’re exhausted from holding everything together.

Maybe you’ve spent years putting everyone else’s needs first. Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing yourself, agonizing over every conversation, feeling like you’re never doing enough, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it “should.” You don’t have to have the perfect explanation (or even know exactly what’s wrong) to benefit from therapy.

If you know something needs to change, that’s enough. We’ll make sense of the rest together.

Maybe you’ve been carrying more than anyone realizes.

Areas of Support

Quieting the constant pressure to “get it right.”

Learning to set boundaries without guilt.

Letting go of survival patterns that no longer serve you.

Building confidence in your own decisions.

Processing painful experiences that still feel present.

Feeling more connected to yourself and your relationships.

Processing painful experiences that still feel present.

Finding relief from anxiety, overwhelm, overthinking, and emotional exhaustion.

Creating a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and joyful.

Therapy is more than talking about your week. It’s a space to slow down, notice what’s been happening beneath the surface, and begin relating to yourself with more compassion than criticism. Some sessions will focus on understanding patterns. Others may involve EMDR to help your brain and nervous system process experiences that still feel stuck. We’ll celebrate progress, make room for setbacks without shame, and continue building toward the life you want - not by rushing the process, but by moving at a pace your nervous system can trust.

Over time, therapy often becomes something clients look forward to: one hour each week where they can show up exactly as they are, feel deeply understood, and leave a little more connected to themselves than when they walked in.

A place where you don’t have to hold it all together.

I intentionally do not bill insurance and operate as a private-pay practice so our work can be guided by your goals rather than the limitations of an insurance company. This gives us greater flexibility in how we approach therapy while helping protect your privacy. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.

Private Pay

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself during therapy is consistency. Regular sessions create the rhythm that allows change to build, week after week.

Healing takes enough courage without wondering what to expect. I believe the practical side of therapy should feel clear, predictable, and easy to navigate, so you can focus on what matters most: your healing. The goal isn’t simply to help you get through another week. It’s to help you build the kind of lasting change

The Investment

Keeping the practical side of therapy simple matters, too. I accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. Payment is processed securely through your client portal the day of the session.

Payment

I get that life doesn’t always go according to plan. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I simply ask for at least 48 hour’s notice. Appointments changed with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged the full session fee, as that time has been reserved specifically for you and is often difficult to fill on short notice.

When Life Happens

Simple, Transparent, and No Surprises

After you reach out, we’ll start with a conversation - not a commitment. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what you’re hoping for, answer your questions, and decide together whether it feels like the right fit. If it does, we’ll schedule your first session. If not, I’ll help you find the support that’s right for you.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Think of your first therapy session as a conversation, not a test or a trauma dump. You don’t need to tell your whole life story or have everything neatly organized before we meet. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what’s bringing you to therapy now, what you’re hoping will feel different, and answering any questions you have along the way. By the end of our time together, we’ll have a clearer picture of your goals and what our work together might look like. More importantly, you’ll have the chance to get a feel for what it’s like to work with me and whether it feels like the right fit.

For most clients, I recommend starting with weekly therapy sessions. Healing isn’t built through one breakthrough. It’s built through consistent opportunities to slow down, practice new patterns, and give your nervous system the chance to experience something different. Weekly therapy creates the rhythm that allows meaningful change to take root. As you make progress, we’ll regularly check in and decide together whether a different schedule makes sense.

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to arrive with a list, a treatment plan, or even the right words. Many people come to therapy simply knowing that they’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or tired of living the way they’ve been living. Part of my job is helping you make sense of what’s been weighing on you. We’ll get curious together and discover what your mind and nervous system have been trying to tell you.

Absolutely. Life rarely fits into neat categories, and neither does therapy. Anxiety might be connected to perfectionism. Relationship struggles might be shaped by past experiences. Burnout may be tied to years of people-pleasing. Rather than treating each concern separately, we’ll look at the bigger picture and focus on the patterns that are having the greatest impact on your life. As those patterns begin to shift, other areas often begin to feel different, too.

Definitely. Therapy isn’t about choosing the “perfect” path from the very beginning. As we work together, your needs may change, and that’s okay. If we decide an EMDR intensive would help you make deeper progress, or if another approach feels like a better fit, we’ll talk through your options together. My goal isn’t to fit you into a particular service. It’s to help you find the type of support that’s most helpful for where you are right now.

Healing doesn’t always happen in dramatic breakthroughs. More often, it shows up in quiet moments. You may notice you’re recovering more quickly after a hard day. Setting a boundary without replaying the conversation all night. Feeling less responsible for everyone else’s emotions. Trusting yourself a little more. Laughing more. Resting more. Doing more hobbies. Feeling more like yourself. One of my favorite moments in therapy is what I call the “remember when…” conversation. It’s when we look back together and realize just how much has changed. You might say, “I forgot I used to feel that way,” or “I can’t believe that used to be so hard for me.” These moments remind us that healing often happens gradually — until one day you realize you’re no longer carrying life in the same way.

I believe you deserve to know exactly what you're investing before you decide to work with me. Weekly therapy is $180 for a 55-minute session. EMDR Intensives have their own investment based on the format you choose. I don't accept insurance, but I can provide superbills for weekly therapy if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement. EMDR Intensives are not reimbursed by insurance. Therapy is a big decision, and the financial piece matters. My goal is to make it clear, not mysterious.

You Might Be Wondering

Less surviving. More living.
Come as you are
Come as you are
Less surviving. More living.
Less surviving. More living.
Come as you are
Come as you are
Less surviving. More living.

Maybe you’ve spent a long time believing that you just have to push through. That if you try harder, overthink a little more, or keep everyone else happy, eventually life will feel easier.

But what if it didn’t have to be that way?  You deserve more than surviving. You deserve to feel grounded in yourself, connected to the people you love, and confident that you can handle whatever life brings your way. When you’re ready, I’d love to help you take that first step.
